Slowly, I have been upgrading my wardrobe to nicer and more expensive clothes; thanks mostly to StitchFix and my awesome wife who is my stylist! Each box has 5 pieces and I have kept 14 out of 15 pieces!
So, in my last StitchFix box, Nina included a pair of jeans from Flag & Anthem. As soon as I tried them, I was in love and couldn’t wait to wear them to work; comfy and very nice looking. I ordered a 2nd pair of jeans from the Flag & Anthem and I have a 3rd pair in my shopping cart which will be ordered as soon as I can find some money. With that 2nd pair of jeans, I also ordered a pair of shorts and they were a little big so I am exchanging them for a smaller size. If the shorts work and fit, I will order a few more in fun colors!
Have you heard of a company called Bombas? They are a sock company and were on Shark Tank a few years ago. For every pair you order, they donate a pair; that is an awesome business philosophy. Even though the ones I ordered weren’t comfortable on my feet for work, they are happily sending me some that are more thicker; and, I get to keep the ones I am not fond of.
One of the things I am going to enjoy most is throwing away all of old socks, my old Wrangler cargo shorts, and my old Wrangler jeans.
Lastly, I upgraded my sneakers from New Balance to Merrell’s.
Even though I always threaten to dye my hair blue, get my ear pierced, or get a Beatles green apple tattoo, I won’t ever do it! I will, however, be delighted and have done it in the past to paint my toenails.
