On Tuesday, the three of us went to the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. We had to change his normal weekday morning routine. Instead of playing with mom in his bedroom; basically he unplugs everything and opens and shuts the closet door a thousand times, I got him dressed and we headed out on our adventure.
I sat in the backseat with him and we ate breakfast together. I think he enjoys having company because he was smiling, laughing, and talking a lot.
When we arrived, I really thought we would either have to carry him or hold his hand, but he got in the stroller and stayed there for almost 2 hours. Hey, he was warm as it was cold outside and he had food and drinks. He also got to have some bites of my corndog, glazed donut bacon cheeseburger, and roasted corn.
He was so comfy in the stroller that he didn’t even want to get out for the petting zoo. But, he did eventually get out for a ride on the merry-go-round and afterwards he held on tightly to mom’s hand for the last hour.
Niko enjoyed looking at the animals and people and Nina and I enjoyed being out in the world together with our awesome son.
Niko took a short nap on the car ride home.
