Baby Dreams

Posted on 10/01/201704/19/2025 by Mark

I know Niko dreams, but what does he dream about?  Are we in his dreams? Is Franklin cat in his dreams? Are boobs in his dreams?

Does he know he is dreaming?   Does he have nightmares?

Every night and when I put him down for naps, I always tell him I will see him in my dreams.

You know something, one of the things I absolutely dislike after I put him in his crib and shut the door; whether it’s for a nap or nighttime, is that he is alone in a dark room and the only way he can get our attention is by screaming or crying.  Remember, he is only a baby and has no clue what is going on.  Actually, he probably does know what’s happening, but is so glad to be sleeping, it doesn’t matter to him.  Ninety-nine percent of the time during his naps or even at nighttime, I am watching him on the video monitor; even when I am writing, eating, or trying to nap also.

I know when he is older, he will be able to get out of bed, open the door, and either come to our room or go to the kitchen for a snack; oh man, I can’t wait for that to happen.

Hi, I am Mark. I started writing in 2011 about high school football, daddy blogging since 2015, and reviewing books since 2023. My writing style is unique, my sense of humor is a little crazy, and I’m not embarrassed to share any of it. You can email me at thedadspeaks@icloud.com.
