On Thursday, I had a doctors appointment at 11am and around 9am, I noticed a car that wasn’t mine or Nina’s in our driveway; I saw it was a Saturn SUV and I know my parents drive a Saturn SUV, but I didn’t think it was theirs. So, when I opened the door with my gun in my hand, I was very surprised to see my parents. I was kinda caught off guard! My gun was just my fingers!
Nina had planned this for a week and I had absolutely no clue; even my parents didn’t spoil it by telling me. Great job family!
Nina wanted to take me to either a movie or lunch after my appointment and I chose lunch because a movie would’ve been too long.
I always say it’s nice being out in the world with my wife and without the baby, but we both missed him. It was nice to eat lunch without baby hands getting in everything. It was nice not having to rush. It was nice to have some alone time with my wife.
And, I know for a fact that my parents had a ball babysitting Niko. I told them, next time, we need you to come over after we put him down for nighttime and we can do something in the evening; even it is just dinner down the street.
Any evening, anytime, we would love to babysit our incredible grand baby. We will be there! Love all of you! Hugs!
