I like to eat (who doesn’t)!! And, sometimes when I am out with Nina and Niko exploring the world, I need to satisfy my hunger. So, on Saturday, we went shopping for new clothes (of course, new clothes, we don’t want used clothes) for Nina. Afterwards, we had to feed me (and Nina and Niko) and we had to do our weekly grocery shopping. And, it was getting just a tad past his nap time!!!
Well, I told Nina to drop me and Niko off at Taco Cabana and she can do the shopping. I would much rather have a happy baby with me than a tired cranky baby with us at the supermarket. Plus, I would’ve probably had to hold him at the supermarket (he doesn’t liked being strapped in the stroller after being strapped in the car seat for an hour). That is one disadvantage of living far from the world…it takes us 30 minutes to get into town and most of the time, it takes Niko about 15 minutes to fall asleep (and, we like to get him at least an hour nap).
I know, I get to eat (but not Niko and Nina). Not exactly, because I ordered a chicken fajita taco with onions and guacamole for him (I picked out the guts and fed it to him in a highchair — don’t worry, he didn’t eat the tortilla). That was his 1st time in a highchair outside the house and he did great. It was also nice for me because I was able to eat my food without baby hands getting in everything. Oh, we took our dining experience outside since it was absolutely perfect weather.
When Nina picked us up, I drove us home and she was able to nosh on some snacks from the supermarket.
See, we all 3 got to eat (very different things).
