On January 12th, (while I was working), Nina purchased a “mommy car” (which just happens to be a Honda Pilot). I really have to thank my mother for meeting Nina and Niko at the dealership to babysit Niko!!! I also have to thank the car dealership for allowing Nina to sign paperwork on Thursday without me and for allowing me to sign the same paperwork on Friday after I got out of work. It really could’ve been a disaster, but it wasn’t!!
Now, we have lots of cargo room in the back and Niko has more room to look cool in the car-seat!!! One of the features I love on her car is the back tailgate opens and closes automatically!!! How awesome is that?
Yes, I was a little bit jealous of her new SUV and I did inquire with the salesperson if it was possible to trade mine in for a CRV without any additional money down and keeping the same monthly payment? His answer, was yes, we could do it, BUT (here we go), it would increase your monthly payment. So, I said no!!! I have an awesome Honda Civic with everything but leather seats and a moon-roof (or is it a sunroof…what is the difference). There is a slight chance that either my car or Nina’s car could be Niko’s car when he turns 16 (because if you take care of them, Honda’s can last a long time).
