Niko the CRAWLER

Posted on 11/22/201604/19/2025 by Mark

Just within the past few weeks, Niko has mastered crawling and he is a fast little baby.  Right now, we are limiting his crawling to a small defined space in our living room for his own protection. But, don’t worry because that space is actually very roomy and fenced in as Nina and I get in and play with him.  Sometimes, he is more interested in us then his toys or the kitten (who looks so pathetic on the outside).

Last weekend, we rearranged the furniture on the first floor (I prefer to call it the start of baby-proofing because I think he will be walking soon).  I mean, he is already perching himself up on anything to help him stand and balance (until he falls).

So back to the rearrangement of furniture…we really opened up the room by moving a big sofa to the kitchen nook (yeah, that sounds like we have a huge house, but don’t).  By doing this, it will allow Niko a lot more room to crawl when he masters it.  Oh, it also will stop Nina and I from bumping into stuff and hurting ourselves!!!
