I get diaper duty in the morning before I leave for work and in the evening before we jump into bed.
Now, with morning diaper duty, I have to be careful because I am dressed nicely and don’t want to get pee, poo, or slobber on my clothes. I have already witnessed a poo fountain and luckily it stayed away from me. Man, it was actually kinda fun to watch but a pain in the ass (no pun intended) to clean as I must’ve used 10 diaper wipes!!! Oh, right after I give Niko a clean diaper (not even a minute later), he goes poo!!! Well, I would probably do the same if I had a clean diaper on (hopefully, I won’t need a diaper for a long long long time). Yes, I have and will continue to gag at his diapers!!!
In the evening, I get to prepare Niko for bed which I love doing. In case you didn’t know, Nina makes homemade bath and body products (that is why I smell so good). One of the products she made is baby butt balm (so he doesn’t get a rash on his ass) and so far, no rash!!! She also made nipple balm for herself because they get sore from feeding the baby. So, Niko gets some baby butt balm and I get the nipple balm (just kidding about the nipple balm, I just want to see how many times I can write the word nipple). He gets a night-time diaper and a clean onesie (because whatever he is wearing prior has slobber on it and I don’t want my son sleeping in a wet shirt). A wet shirt would be good for somebody else in the household that doesn’t have a penis (but, it has to be white). Lastly, I get to put him in a BABY MERLIN MAGIC SLEEPSUIT (he looks like the Marshmallow dude from Ghostbusters or an Astronaut) for sleepy time.
Sleepy time with Niko is very enjoyable for me because he sleeps on me!!! When he gets hungry, he cries and I hand him to Nina so she can feed him his 25th meal!!! I know that I will have a few minutes and even if I am thirsty or have to pee, I am so happy because I get some sleepy time on my side (rather my back) — I am a side sleeper. Sometimes, I am so sleepy that when Nina touches me to get my attention (because the baby is done eating), I ignore her. But, don’t worry folks, I eventually get the picture and roll back on my back and get Niko again (until he wakes up for food).
Morning comes fast and I get morning diaper duty again!!! It’s hard work with a lot of rewards!!!
