The other ladies on the tour looked like they were about to POP whereas we are only in week 19. I was kinda hoping that they would be approachable (not to pick up, but to hang out with) because Nina and I need some new friends, but to be honest, they were all very dull and kept to themselves and their spouses. Or maybe, Nina and I were just to unique for them. When we went our Honeymoon cruise in 2010, we sat at a table for 4 and on the first night, we met the other couple but they never showed up again at our table…I guess we scared them off.
Nina and I were the only ones who talked to some of the employees and they were all extremely friendly. They are going to be the ones who see us very intimately in times of pain and happiness. I know the employees are going to love us because we are fun to be around (just ask Franklin and Oscar). Franklin is our cat, not Oscar’s evil twin. Earlier this year, I went to an appointment with my wife and all I heard from her and the office staff was laughter.
I am very glad their will be a place for me to sleep (almost comfortably with Nina and Oscar). I mean, the last time I slept in a hospital was in February of this year when Nina had surgery. One night, I slept in an uncomfortable day bed and the second night, I slept in a slightly less uncomfortable chair. Not good for me or my 38 year old back!!
Oh, just within the past few week, Nina has started to feel Oscar move. Since he can hear, I have started talking to him and telling him the secret to a being a statistician for High School Football games!!
On December 22nd, we have a 20 week appointment and we are looking forward to seeing a picture of Oscar. I am telling you now, but I may just end up crying like a little boy named Oscar.
