She asked me if I liked doing stats or writing better? Without even thinking, I blurted out that I like writing better.
So, with that being said, I am stepping away from my stat job with the Texas Sports Radio Network which I have doing since 1997 and will be writing High School football articles for www.texashsfootball.com. I am going to miss working with the great folks from TSRN but I know I will see them during the season. I am still going to do stats for Thursday Night Lights on CW35 (I have been with them for 6 years).
Basically, what this means for you is rather than reading my High School football articles on my blog, I will be directing you to read them on www.texashsfootball.com.
The other big change is I will be choosing the games I attend and I am telling you now that I won’t choose the biggest games every week. I am open to game suggestions!! One school I am definitely planning on writing about is the Canyon Lake Hawks when they have a home game (mainly because I have never been to there stadium and also it is in my neck of the woods).
Man, I am super excited and can’t wait to get started. WOW!!!
