busy high school football week

Posted on 02/06/201411/04/2025 by Mark
Man, it has been a BUSY week for High School Football games (and there aren’t even any games being played!!) and my Twitter feed.

Monday was the 2014 UIL Realignment.  My BLOG article I wrote was also posted on Lone Star Gridiron’s website.  Yes, I am a published writer!!!

National Signing Day was on Wednesday. If you want to see where your favorite San Antonio player is going, click here.

Today, Jim Streety, the head coach at San Antonio Madison High School retired after 23 years (man, that is gonna be a job that everybody covets) and 40 years overall.  He is going to be the Athletic Director at New Braunfels ISD.

And, lastly and also today, Lorne Chan, one of the San Antonio Express News High School football writers is going to be a music writer for the newspaper.

What will happen tomorrow?  Oh, I know…I am going to Alamo stadium for new renovation photos which will be published tomorrow.

Hi, I am Mark. I started writing in 2011 about high school football, daddy blogging since 2015, and reviewing books since 2023. My writing style is unique, my sense of humor is a little crazy, and I’m not embarrassed to share any of it. You can email me at thedadspeaks@icloud.com.
