I am really glad that UTSA and UIW got there share of high school football players from San Antonio.
I am interested to see how Tommy Armstrong, the former Steele Knight QB, does at the UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA, Trevor Knight, the former Reagan Rattler QB, does at UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA, and Rex Dausin, the former Warren Warriors QB, does at the UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON. I dropped these three names many times in my high school football blog (search my BLOG by Tommy, Trevor, and Rex to see my posts about them).
Tommy’s most impressive game that I worked was from Week 3. He went 3 of 4 passing for 74 yards and 2 touchdowns in only one quarter of play!
Trevor’s most impressive game that I worked was from Week 8. He went 7 for 14 passing for 169 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also ran the ball 14 times for 70 yards with 1 touchdown. And, he didn’t play the second half of that game!
Rex’s most impressive game that I worked was from Week 5. He went 21 of 24 passing for 342 yards and 3 touchdowns! That would come out to a NFL passer rating of 158.33! He also added 42 yards rushing with 1 touchdown.
I wish all the student athletes best of luck in college and represent San Antonio well.
